Gibby's 2 cents
Console Gamer for as long as I can remember. PC games are fun too
but they just don't have the same feel. If you don't know already, NES
is my all-time favorite with Genesis falling in at #2. Everything else
is still great to play but there is no "great childhood memories" linked
to any of them so the enjoyment falls in on a different level.
My wife is a collector of Cookbooks.
She has what seems like 1000's on Oak bookshelves in our Foyer. She is
not much of a gamer aside from a select few titles. She is still the
best "Kung Fu" for NES player I have ever seen, also good at "Mario
Tennis" for N64. Aside from those 2 games I kick her ass at
everything... haha..
I am glad to be a part of this
community already. Anything any of you see in my lists your missing then
feel free to shoot me a email. I'm sure we all have titles each other
are missing. I look forward to the upcoming months/years as I become
friends with some or all of you. |

My PC work area |

NOTE: This room was custom built along with
all the shelves, counter, etc. by me. These pictures are outdated and my
collection is much bigger than pictured but you get an idea. I bought
our house in 1995. It was originally built in 1890 (5 bedroom, 2baths, Living Room,
Dining Room, Kitchen, Laundry Room, Foyer, Computer/Game Room, &
Basement) It took 6 months of renovation before we were actually able to
move into it in the spring of '96. I completely gutted the entire house
except the load bearing wall (Including the 8 fireplaces from roof to
the ground) rewired, new plumbing, new walls, replacement windows, new
entry doors, 52'x10' concrete porch w/roof wrapping the front left
corner of the house, 24'x12' deck on right side of the house, built
addition on lower level containing (computer room, downstairs bathroom,
& 16'x12' storage room). This house has definitely been a challenge to
me the past 8 years and am finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel
as far as completing it. "Thank God!" |
